Friday the 13th collection orders will begin processing during the week of September 23. We do not keep this collection “in stock”; instead, they are batched and shipped once the event concludes.
In the Fall of 1981 a group of mysterious, unlabeled arcade cabinets began appearing in quiet Portland suburbs. Gamers quickly became addicted to the unfamiliar game — POLYBIUS — and began experiencing bizarre side effects. Some fell ill, suffering from seizures, horrific nightmares, and migraines; others say they felt unable to control their own thoughts. The story goes that the game cabinets were serviced frequently by mysterious men in black suits who opened the machines only to record its data, leaving the trove of quarters behind… until one day, the cabinets simply vanished without a trace. Was this a secret government project? A clandestine experiment connected to MKUltra? Or just a hoax….? Though most agree that the game probably never existed, the mystery of Polybius has yet to be completely solved, and lives on in the annals of internet lore.

☾ Notes: ☽ Lonely suburban parking lots, dusty neon, dingy arcade cabinets, synthesized digital glow, static jolt, hot wires, analog noise, G̵̭̑ ̴̞̔A̶̱̅ ̸̿ͅM̷͛ͅ ̴̺̌Ë̷̘ ̶̹͒ Ọ̴̄ ̸͙̀V̷̦͝ ̵̲͠E̸̪͊ ̸̝͂R̸̪̐
☾ Fragrance Family: ☽
Its fragrance is both unassuming and abstract; the synthesis of analog and digital. A predominantly airy & vaporous atmospheric with a retro flair.
Similar In Mood To: The Bottling Room, All Apologies, Youth Gone Wild. If you wanted a more avant-garde, weirder version of Groom Lake, I made you something ;)
* For Parfums shipping outside the U.S., Isopropyl Myristate (IPM) may be substituted for some or all of the Perfumer's Alcohol. This allows fragrances to be safely and legally shipped overseas without the huge price increase of surface mail. This does not affect the use of the product, although it may appear very slightly thicker than perfumer's alcohol (it is still sprayable, and can be used in the same way as a regular Parfum).
