Lovers’ Lane, Makeout Point - whatever you call it, this popular teen rendezvous spot has set the stage for chilling tales since the early 1950s. Most familiar is the legend of The Hook - two young lovers escape into the seclusion of a wooded overlook where they are interrupted by a radio newsflash warning of an escaped madman with a hook for a hand.
